After initially being contacted at the beginning of May, we have been quick to discuss the programme, how it fits with our future aspirations and how it would currently affect or kit offering.
The Nike Partner Club programme has been running since 2013, and is aimed at an exclusive group of forward-thinking clubs and academy programmes.
Nike limited this opportunity to 250 partner clubs across England. With over 150,000 clubs across the country, this is an extremely exclusive group of clubs with a combined 0.17% of clubs being offered this opportunity.
As part of the Nike Partner Club programme, FFE, its player & staff will have access to the latest Nike training ranges, bursaries for coaching qualifications, access to Nike/FA run events at St George’s Park, invitations to Nike ran tournaments, tickets to FA premier league and England international fixtures along with much more.
Nike has signed a new deal with the FA until 2030. The brand aims to invest £9m into the game. Since 2013, £5.25m has been invested by Nike into grassroots football. This includes £2m into county FAs, with an additional £2 million worth of footballs distributed across these counties. Furthermore, £1.25 has been invested into coaches education. Nike's commitment to supporting the game at all levels cannot be doubted.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Callum & Josh from the Nike Partner Club programme for approaching us and offering us the opportunity to join the Nike family. We look forward to a great relationship moving forwards.
